Valerian Root also known as valeriana wallichii, all heal, phu, amatilla, set well, vandal root, st. george’s herb, setuale, setwell, cat’s valerian, and english valerian. Unpleasant in odor but in magickal uses makes a powerful protector and destroyer of jinxes. Other magickal uses include force love, hexing, bad luck, harmony, and protects one from vandals.

Powerful in attracting cats, rats, some insects. Believed to stop unwanted visitors from entering your home by sprinkling across the threshold. People would secretly place in enemy’s car to cause them to have bad luck and wreck. Also thought to bring quarreling couples together.
